KKR Will Have A Better Show This Time: Whatmore
Kolkata: Kolkata Knight Riders will provide a better show in the forthcoming Indian Premier League matches, the team’s newly-appointed coach Dav Whatmore said on Saturday.

“Things are getting better and better with the boys. The only thing they need is the coordination between overseas and local players to work well,” he told to reporters.
Replying to a question, the Sri Lanka-born Aussie said his main strike bowler Ishant Sharma was doing well for India. “I have no problem with him,” he said while talking about Sharma’s recent form.
Stressing on the need to have a couple of more back-up wicketkeepers besides Wriddiman Saha and Brandon McCullum, he said, “Saha is doing well but getting McCullum immediately is not possible. So we need back-up wicketkeepers”.
The coach said that speedster Shane Bond would be available from the third match. “I expect other overseas players to arrive by the beginning of April,” he added.
Whatmore, on his first assignment with KKR said, said no team can be taken lightly in the T2O format. “Every team is a potential threat and we need to give our best in all the matches as in this format any team can be victorious,” he stated.
Meanwhile, the bowling coach of the team Wasim Akram is expected to arrive in the city on Monday. The KKR, on Saturday, began their practice with seven local players and eight more are to join from Monday for a full fledged camp at Eden Gardens.
