This Test series between South Africa – India series completely overshadowed the Ashes though Ashes was interesting for the first three tests and then it was a single sided domination but here in South Africa every test, every session was a ripper.
This is the second famous victory erupted on the South African soil and the victory was even sweeter and a special one as the visiting team once drubbed at the same venue 14 years back returned the favors with utmost dignity.

India took a dip with two points down in its ranking as it won only match in this series against a team which is ranked at number 7 with 80 points. India now sits pretty at the No # 1 position with 129 points in the test rankings.
